Question

Hi
I was talking to a bloke named paul the other day and he said that the marina had factory fitted telescopic shock conversions, I was wondering if the ones on your '72 model where them or ones of your conception?
Cheers
Carle

Adrian,
As far as I can recall the advanced model group worked on a double wishbone front end with telescopic shocks but they did not go to production.
I will try to think of the name of the guy doing the job.
What they should have done was adopt a Macpherson strut top end (sans
spring) to the existing torsion bar - I think Porsche use/d this
design.
This would have cured the Marinas handling probs.
Regards,
Stuart.

Hi,
no marina had factory fitted telescopic shock absorbers theses were
created by pedders suspension in the seventies due to the huge number
of customers complaing about poor road holding and handling
the factory story is 100% a myth
regards
Andrew
